EquoIQ ergonomic summer sheet are developed for good fitting and to give the horse as much freedom as possible wearing rug. Our unique design features a frontal piece attached higher up at both sides of the shoulder blades and therefore reduces pressure on the chest area. The highly durable fabric can handle any rough play out in the field with friends. You can expect to use the rug for several years. The rug has double fabric over the back. The smooth fabric at the inside of the back prevents the rug not to strangle back as hard. It also gives protection from big bugs.
The neckcover on this rug shall fasten with the velcro high on the horse neck. They are placed in that way to keep the rug in place and also to follow the horses neck when it lowers it’s head. At this updated rug we have another, third velcro faster at the neck cover. D-rings for the belly protector has been moved higher up for better protection.

There are 7 cm between each D-ring which creates the ability to vary the shoulder circumference of the rug by 28 cm.
Fit your rug properly
It is important that the cover is not tightened too tightly, then the horse’s freedom of movement is significantly restricted and this can also lead to the D-rings breaking.
The blanket should look a little loose at the front when it has been put on. It should not get too tight when the horse lowers its head. This ensures the best comfort for the horse.
There is a bracket for the wither protector at all rugs.
