The EquoIQ anatomical combi fly/raincoat protects your horse against insects and sun. The removable belly protector effectively stops summer’s torments.
You can adjust each blanket individually to each horse, regardless of whether it is narrow or wide in the shoulder.
Specifically, the three D-rings spaced 7 cm apart on each side allow you to make a huge individual adjustment.
This way you can easily adjust the front part to the horse’s unique shoulder width.
In total, you can adjust the circumference around the shoulder by almost 30 cm.
In addition, you can take the blanket off and on in an instant, because we have placed the shoulder part buckles on the side.
How to adjust the blanket correctly:
It is important not to tighten the blanket too tightly, as this can put unnecessary pressure on the withers. Instead, leave about a hand’s width between the blanket and the chest when tightening it. The blanket should look a little loose when you put it on. Also make sure that it does not tighten when the horse lowers its head.
All of our blankets have a withers protector attachment.
Choosing the right size?
The length of the back determines which size you should choose. First of all, measure the length of the horse’s back from just in front of the withers to just above the base of the tail. The measuring tape should follow the horse’s back. Based on this measurement, you choose the size of the blanket. For example: if the measuring tape measures 136 cm, you choose a blanket in size 135.
